Job Summary
Once appointed to panel, offers of work can be made in response to demand and tutor availability.
We are looking for a guitar tutor to teach 1-1 guitar lessons at a primary school in SW19 on Friday afternoons for 2 hours.
Whole Class Ukulele/General Musicianship Tutor Wanted – CR4
We are looking for a whole class practitioner to teach whole class ukulele/general musicianship sessions to key stage 2 students at a primary school in Mitcham. This would be on Thursday afternoons for 2 hours.
We are seeking a general musicianship tutor to teach at a School in Mitcham (CR4), for students with ASD and ADHD. This would be teaching whole class general musicianship lessons to students, on Friday mornings for 3 hours. We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience working with students with SEND.
Job Requirements
Self-employed instrumental teaching roles, subject to an Enhanced DBS and other vetting checks.
- Inspiring and involving young people with a love of learning and making music.
- Developing resources and adapting practice to suit the needs and interest of all learners.
- Communicating with and reporting to parents/guardians and other professionals about pupils\’ learning needs, to identify and remove barriers to progress and welfare.
- Following best practice in safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Supporting the vision and strategic aims of Merton Music Foundation.

MMF to handle administration of lesson fees and ongoing support with schools and parents/guardians, leaving you to focus on teaching.
