We require a committed, well-qualified and experienced individual to join our creative team immediately on a self-employed basis, leading workshops in Music Production alongside Guitar and Ukulele Tuition.
This post offers someone who has an innovative approach to education, with excellent communication skills, a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated team of like-minded individuals and educators within the organisation who are committed to teaching ex-offenders and hard to reach individuals. There will be an additional requirement to complete work around performance and vocal techniques, which may include forming a band and/or arranging small scale talent showcases within the establishment.
Also ideal for a recently qualified teacher or experienced facilitator, this is a rare chance to harness the wonder and excitement of the creative arts and use it to enhance learning environments behind the walls of a large male prison in the South East.
Job Requirements
- Current knowledge of Vocal Recording, Mixing And Mastering, Software Editing Techniques, Production Techniques, Software Proficiency, Composition, Sound Engineering, Guitar/Bass/Ukulele.
- Must be a UK Resident with the right to work.
- Must be registered Self-Employed in the UK.
- Relevant experience of teaching young people and adults.
- Relevant experience of music production and instrument tuition.
- Candidates should be hardworking, motivated and passionate about music.
- Candidates should have experience of developing engaging lessons with an inclusive approach that meets the needs of different learning styles.
- Candidates should have good record keeping and time management skills.
