Trafalgar Tickets is seeking a proactive Deputy Social Media & Content Manager (Venues) to manage the day-to-day responsibility for the social media and content channels for Trafalgar Theatres, through the support of the Venue Content Executives. The role holder will help lead the delivery of engaging, on‐brand content across our primary theatre venues. This role is ideal for someone with strong digital and social media experience who thrives in a fast‐paced and collaborative environment and is looking to develop their management and leadership skills.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Line‐manage and support the Venue Content Executives, overseeing their day‐to‐day workload and helping to develop their skills.
- Drive engagement and impressions through the delivery of content creation, including written content and social media strategy across a variety of social channels, community management and campaign activations.
- Grow audience reach, utilising various content formats, reviewing and refining.
- Analyse and create content that reflects trends and amplifies across channels to drive engagement.
- Creation of reporting and insights to optimise engagement and performance on content output.
- Support the Social Media and Content Manager in the delivery of the Venue's social media strategy.
- Liaise with the Campaigns Team for Venues to plan, execute, report and analyse across social and content activity.
- Review and approve Content Executive content, ensuring it aligns with brand tone, campaign goals, and platform best practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency.
- Set, maintain and monitor achievable objectives and targets for the Content Executives.
- Oversee and support the Content Executives in updating and maintaining website content via Contentful, ensuring accuracy and consistency across primary venues.
- Ensure regional variations and sensitivities are reflected in content when promoting national tours or local programming.
- Liaise and communicate regularly with the Social Media and Content Manager, ensuring strategy awareness and understanding of campaign delivery.
- Any ad hoc duties as and when required.
