We are currently recruiting for a full time Chief of Staff on a fixed term contract for 12 months (Maternity Cover) based in our London Office (Hybrid Working). This role can be undertaken as a Secondment opportunity, subject to our agreement with your current employer.

Our mission is to use our expertise to support and champion the UK’s heritage and demonstrate the transformative potential of National Lottery funding through delivering our new strategy Heritage 2033. We ensure that money from The National Lottery makes a decisive difference for people, places and communities.
This key role reports to and works closely with the CEO to ensure best use of their time, supporting them to provide direction to the Heritage Fund and the effective delivery of the Heritage Fund’s objectives. You will work closely with the Executive Team and senior management across the organisation to drive forward key activities.
You will manage the CEO’s office, including the Executive Assistant who provides administrative support to the CEO and Chair. It is a fast-paced environment and the post holder will need to work autonomously and adapt to meet changing priorities. You will be trusted to make decisions and will attend meetings with and on behalf of the CEO. This role provides an opportunity to gain a real insight into the operation of a major lottery and government funding delivery organisation, including working closely with DCMS and other government departments as well as other lottery distributors and industry stakeholders.
