The predicted salary is between 12 - 20 £ per hour.
The project aims to increase the resilience, aspirations and emotional development of children from areas of social and economic disadvantage through a programme of music skills development, to increase participants’ musical skills while contributing to their improved wellbeing and self-worth. Situated in four schools in north and west Belfast, the project aims to deliver weekly workshops with P1-P3 classes to develop fundamental music skills and progress to learning orchestral instruments from P4-P7.
We are currently recruiting tutors in the following instruments:
- Upper strings
- Flute
- Brass
There will be a range of hours available to suit the needs of the project, from approximately 3 hours to 10 hours a week. Further information is available on our website. The closing date for applications is midday on Monday 8 June 2026. Interviews will take place during the week commencing Monday 15 June. Ideally, the successful candidates will be available to attend a meeting in early September 2026 with a view to commencing late September 2026.
