Sitting in the heart of the Copr Bay development, Swansea Arena is a landmark 3,500 capacity multi-purpose indoor arena which opened its doors in March 2022. Hosting some of the most recognised names in live music, comedy and theatre, the fully-modular arena also hosts e-sports, conferences and events.
The Stage Door Receptionist is a vital part of our Back of House team, acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, contractors, and touring companies. This is a casual position with flexible shifts available across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights—depending on the event and maintenance schedule. The role involves close collaboration with all departments and reports to the senior Stage Door staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing a professional and welcoming presence at Stage Door
- Managing venue access and security protocols
- Operating the fire panel and overseeing building open/close procedures
- Preparing and maintaining the venue’s eight in‑house dressing rooms
- Coordinating internal communications between departments
This is a dynamic and fast‑paced role that would suit someone who is adaptable, proactive, and confident in handling a variety of tasks.
