This is an opportunity to come together, share skills and experiences and play an active role in guiding our organisation and the projects we deliver. Members will help build a strong, supportive LGBTQ+ community, meeting once a month with sessions alternating between online and in-person.
We’re keen to hear from people based anywhere in Wales, from all backgrounds and disciplines, who are interested in community organising, collaborative working or contributing insight, care and creativity. This is a voluntary role, ideal for those who want to support LGBTQ+ artists and communities and help On Your Face grow in ways that are meaningful, inclusive and rooted in the needs of the community.
Alongside monthly meetings members may choose to get involved in additional voluntary opportunities, such as attending events, supporting funding applications, admin, social media or helping plan and deliver projects.
As a social enterprise, On Your Face belongs to the community. This membership programme is about shared leadership ensuring our work reflects the voices, needs and desires of LGBTQ+ people across Wales, and creates lasting positive impact.
We will be having our first meeting online on Thursday February 26th 6-8pm. If you are interested in attending register via the link.
