The Memo Arts Centre (MAC) is situated in the heart of Barry, it is the largest multi-arts venue in the Vale of Glamorgan, incorporating a theatre, cinema, studio and diverse spaces, along with bars and social areas.
The Memo Arts Centre in Barry is seeking a creative and adaptable marketing individual with experience of working to deliver advertising, social media and content creation to become our Marketing Engagement Co-ordinator. The successful applicant provides crucial skills to support the effective marketing campaigns that drive the Memo Arts Centre’s ticket sales and revenue generation.
They will deliver marketing, communications and audience engagement campaigns to support the venue's programme and brand. This role will implement innovative marketing plans to raise the media profile and footprint of the venue and its activities through inventive digital marketing techniques and traditional advertising opportunities.
This is a key role in delivering marketing and long-term growth strategy while establishing the venue within the local community. Excellent organisational skills are required, along with a proactive attitude, good communication skills and strong attention to detail. Applicants should be ready to demonstrate an interest and passion for communication, performing arts and community engagement.
