Good Ancestors: Artists Panel & Exhibition

Join SSAP as we celebrate our Good Ancestors Project, a Black-led artist club and space for creative, collaborative and decolonised activism. The project explores climate and nature through an international lens, focusing on Wales and Africa. This event is part of the Big Green Climate Campaign that runs from 7-15 June.

Meet the artists who have created unique, important work on the climate emergency, hear their stories and appreciate the art on display. Enjoy refreshments then take part in our creative workshops where you can make climate conscious art led by our artists.

What is Good Ancestors Club?

The Good Ancestors Club has brought together African, Welsh and Diaspora creatives who have learnt new skills and knowledge in the climate and nature emergency and have created new and exciting artworks that rally the call for urgent action.

There will be an artist panel discussion with Paskaline Jabet, Jean Samuel, Um and Radha, who have all created artworks for this project.
