Purpose of role
The Inclusion Producer will strategically lead, manage and coordinate the Assemble programme in Cardiff, ensuring it’s delivered effectively, inclusively and to the highest standard. This is a project management and partnership role, responsible for planning, logistics, recruitment, evaluation and relationship management rather than hands‑on facilitation or delivery.
Working closely with the National Youth Theatre’s National Inclusion Producer and Inclusion Producers in other UK regions, the post holder will oversee a local team of freelance practitioners and volunteers to deliver creative workshops, training, trips and work experience placements for young people aged 18‑25.
You’ll build robust relationships with education institutions (including FE colleges, universities and adult learning providers), as well as community and cultural organisations, ensuring that D/deaf, Disabled, Learning Disabled and Neurodiverse young people can access creative opportunities and progression routes.
Through excellent organisation, communication and partnership management, the Inclusion Producer will make Cardiff’s strand of Assemble a model of best practice that contributes actively to the programme’s national impact.
