We are currently seeking a Campaigns Officer who will be responsible for implementing activity across all WNO’s audience marketing and supporting fundraising communications, working closely with other departments, the Head of Marketing & Digital and Marketing Manager to contribute to compelling campaigns. The role is responsible for all media buying and supporting across activity that promotes the breadth of WNO’s work to hit financial and audience capacity targets.

What will be required of you?

  • Supports the delivery of all marketing and audience development campaigns and materials
  • Works as a pro-active member of the marketing team to ensure that all targets and KPIs are reached, and campaigns are a success.
  • Support digital campaign activity including writing engaging new stories, website updates, paid digital advertising and content ideas to ensure WNO campaigns are digitally optimised.
  • Co-ordinates email activity for audience and fundraising campaigns including writing copy, proofing, build and data extraction, while utilising A/B testing to optimise format and content.
  • Researches and writes engaging editorials and copy for WNO audience communications and campaigns.
  • Co-ordinates all direct mail marketing including liaison with mailing house and undertaking all mailing extractions from Tessitura. Undertakes all data liaison with venues for all marketing campaign activity as required.
  • Writes comprehensive briefs and co-ordinates media buying across all campaigns with agency and/or media owners direct.
  • Writes detailed advertising design briefs for campaign activity and liaises with designers to deliver artwork to deadlines.

What you will need to have?

  • Attention to detail, curiosity and passion are essential.
  • A team player who has a strong sense of their own individual responsibility and can work on their own initiative.
  • Experience in marketing and communications, ideally but not essentially in Arts Marketing.
  • Experience in campaign planning and management.
  • Experience in copy writing.
  • Confident and enthusiastic with working with numbers.
  • Experience of working with customer databases.
  • Propensity to learn new applications quickly and to a high level of competence.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and Access.
  • Welsh language speaker/writer
  • Experience of working with Tessitura.
  • An interest in opera/ classical music/the arts.

What we can offer you?

£25,400 per annum.

Colleagues are entitled to 25 days annual leave (pro-rata for part time hours) each full holiday leave year which runs from 1st September to 31 August.Bank and public holidays are in addition to this.After 5 years, your holiday will increase to 28 days.
