The Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator creates brilliant, audience-focused digital content that grows awareness of Compton Verney, supports visits and membership, and brings our art, nature, programme, people and place to life.

They lead our day-to-day organic social media and play an active role in wider marketing delivery across email, website, paid digital and integrated campaigns.

Curious about audiences, culture and digital behaviour, they spot the stories, details and opportunities others might miss and turn them into distinctive content that makes people stop scrolling, engage, click, book and come back for more.

We are interested in what you can do and the potential you can bring.

You do not need to have worked in an art gallery or museum before, and we do not expect one person to arrive knowing everything.

You will have

  • Strong written and visual storytelling skills, including experience creating social content such as photography, short-form video or simple graphics.
  • Experience creating or delivering content across more than one digital marketing channel, such as social media, email or websites.
  • The ability to adapt ideas, tone and format for different audiences, platforms and objectives.
  • Experience planning content or campaigns and managing several priorities and deadlines.
  • An understanding of how audience insight and performance data can improve digital marketing.
  • An understanding of how paid digital activity can support wider campaigns, with experience creating content for paid channels or an interest in developing this area.
  • A practical understanding of accessible digital content, copyright, permissions and responsible use of personal data.
  • Confidence using content creation and digital marketing tools, with the ability to learn unfamiliar platforms quickly.
