Overview
The Postcard Project acts as a vehicle for young and emerging artists and creatives to have the freedom to express themselves and get their work seen by leading figures in the art world.
Advertising Exhibitions UK is arranging its first show in London in summer 2013, Lines, at The Strand Gallery and would like your help:
What to submit
We are asking for works A5 and under to be conceived and sent to us to act as an archive of emerging artists work happening now. An online gallery will be made available so everyone will be able to see your work and the originals will either be sent to our high profile guest list inviting them to the exhibition which in aid of The Prince’s Foundation for Children and The Arts, thus gaining you huge exposure or exhibited.
Details
There will also be a dedicated exhibition for these small works in central London during the summer of 2013 and we are in negotiations with major exhibition spaces for this at the moment. We accept all work as long as it can be hung on a wall.
Theme
The theme of the Lines is ‘practice and process’, showing artworks alongside sketches and sketch books communicating the ongoing thought processes of artists and showcasing the links between differing artistic practices and disciplines.
Submission instructions
Please make sure you add your name, title of the postcard if you want to give it one and an accessible online portfolio/contact details (so we and other people can find you) and send it in an envelope to:
