An exciting opportunity to join Tobacco Factory Theatres as a Duty Manager. The Duty Manager supports the delivery of our live events and makes TFT a place of Welcome & Wonder.
The Duty Managers are the face of Tobacco Factory Theatres during live performances and events. They are responsible for supervising the Front of House Assistants on shift. We are looking for friendly, organized, and proactive staff with exceptional customer service skills to oversee the smooth running of our Front of House operation.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the building
- Overseeing the Theatre and Theatre Bar operations during performances
- Assisting audiences
- Supporting Front of House Assistants
- Working closely with Technical, Box Office, and Sales teams to ensure smooth theatre operations
Contract: One-year fixed-term contract.
Hours: Guaranteed 12 hours per week, with additional hours when available.
Employer: Tobacco Factory Arts Trust
Salary: £13.20 per hour
Location: Tobacco Factory Theatres, Raleigh Road, Bristol, BS3 1TF
Probation period: Two months with a one-week notice period during probation. Post-probation notice: Six weeks
