Job Summary

The post of Fundraising Manager – Corporate Partnerships has been created to help develop and implement a strategy to maximise income from our partnerships with local and national organisations.

Job Description

  • Contribute to the development of the corporate partnerships strategy, planning activity and setting targets.
  • Research and identify potential sponsors for Eden Court activity such as Under Canvas and the pantomime.
  • Develop creative, compelling sponsorship proposals and negotiate agreements with partners.
  • Manage implementation of sponsorship agreements, including delivery of benefits such as photo/video opportunities, hospitality events, advertising, branding/acknowledgement, social media posts, media releases, complimentary ticket allocations.
  • Develop and strengthen sponsor relationships with regular meetings, communications and reporting.
  • Research, identify and recruit new members of the Eden Court Business Club.
  • Administer Business Club memberships, including issuing fulfilment materials, invoicing and renewals.
  • Manage Business Club member ticket bookings, hospitality, communications and delivery of benefits.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with Business Club members.
  • Help with the delivery of events for Business Club members.
  • Promote the Business Club and sponsorship opportunities to Eden Court audiences and in business networks.
  • Work closely with the Conferences + Events and Marketing teams to develop, promote and deliver cohesive opportunities for businesses at Eden Court, including events, corporate hospitality, advertising and group bookings.

General Responsibilities

  • Any other duties requested by the Line Manager, which are reasonable requirements for the job of Fundraising Manager – Corporate Partnerships.
  • Abide by and promote organisational policies, such as Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Data Protection.
  • Maintain an environment that is safe and welcoming for participants, audiences, visitors, staff and everyone else.
  • Represent Eden Court professionally at external meetings and advocating for the work we do.

Job Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge

  • Experience of fundraising in the charity, arts or not for profit sector with a proven track record of delivering against targets.
  • Track record of securing new partnerships and managing sponsorship relationships in the charity or corporate sector.
  • An understanding of the motivations for businesses to work with charities and the partnership structures that are used.
  • Knowledge of and contacts within the Highland business community.
  • Excellent written skills, with experience of writing for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience of working with budgets.
  • IT literacy, with experience of using Microsoft programmes.
  • Experience of working with ticketing systems or relational CRM databases.
