b Overview /b p In this role you will operate and maintain the sound system for the Mean Girls UK Tour, ensuring a clear, accurate sound image across venues. You will work closely with the Sound Designer and Musical Director to support large-scale productions on a UK-wide tour. The role combines hands-on tech work with coordination and safety responsibilities. This is a chance to contribute to a high-profile tour and shape the audience sound experience. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 40k-50k salary /li li full-time contract /li li UK-wide tour /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Operate sound equipment for each performance as directed by the Sound Designer and Musical Director /li li Attend get-in, fit-up, and get-out activities as required /li li Run sound during technical and dress rehearsals and other scheduled times /li li Prepare cue sheets for the show /li li Unpack, prepare, and maintain equipment at each venue /li li Coordinate and supervise load-out and prepare gear for transport /li li Maintain equipment in safe, working order and conduct pre-performance checks /li li Process purchase orders for goods/equipment as approved by the Producer /li li Provide a carnet for overseas engagements if needed /li li Attend production meetings, rehearsals, and performances as required /li li Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines of the Company /li li Fulfill other duties as reasonably required by Producers /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven experience touring large-scale productions /li li Ability to operate sound equipment per show requirements /li li Willingness to attend get-ins, rehearsals, and extreme events as needed /li li Experience preparing cue sheets and conducting equipment checks /li li Capability to unpack, set up, and pack equipment for multiple venues /li li Ability to coordinate load-out and ensure equipment safety across venues /li li Knowledge of health and safety practices in theatre environments /li li Proficiency in dealing with suppliers and purchase orders /li li Willingness to travel UK-wide and work flexible hours /li li Right to work in the UK /li /ul ul li team collaboration /li li clear communication /li li attention to detail /li li sound equipment operation /li li equipment maintenance and safety checks /li li cue sheet preparation /li /ul
