Contract: Permanent (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working and welcomes applications from individuals who require flexibility.)

Salary: £33,643 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, flexible and hybrid working.

Location: Manchester (hybrid working, support remote with 1-2 days onsite per week).

The Global Talent Visa route is open to highly skilled people who wish to come and work in the UK as an exceptionally talented or promising individual in the fields of arts and culture, working in the arts, culture, fashion, architecture, film, or television. This role supports Arts Council England’s effective end-to-end operations in terms of non-investment (development) programmes including Global Talent Visas and the ongoing development of the programme which Arts Council, as a designated competent body, administers on behalf of the Home Office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the administration of the Global Talent Visa Exceptional Talent and Exceptional Promise Visa programme.
  • Assess, recommend, and endorse review of applications.
  • Provide flexibility and capacity across the team to allow effective deployment to other areas of the team as required.

Qualifications

  • Highly skilled individuals who are exceptionally talented or promising in the arts and culture fields.
  • Experience with visa programmes or related administrative processes desirable.
