Contract: Permanent working 17.5 hours per week. Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility.

Salary: £50,468 (pro rata) per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.

Location: Birmingham or Manchester. The role will be based in either Birmingham or Manchester; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on‑site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1‑2 days a week.

Role Overview: You will be part of our national Diversity team and the role of Senior Manager, Diversity is key to helping us deliver our equality objectives. Your leadership skills, experience in policy development and delivery, data analytical skills and understanding of equality legislation and the EDI issues facing the sector will be invaluable to the Diversity Team’s work. You will apply your knowledge and experience in helping to develop and shape our EDI policy, lead on EDI projects and programmes and use your excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in delivering internal and external presentations focused on advancing our EDI work.
