Help us change how Arts Council England works! Arts Council England is entering an important period of change. We are redesigning services, improving how we use digital tools and data, and making it easier for people and organisations to work with us. Our Strategic Framework is built around three clear objectives: excellence, for everybody and everywhere. It also sets an ambition for a simpler, less prescriptive organisation that provides the best possible support to those who work with us.

We are looking for an Officer, Business Transformation to help make that change happen. You will work across different projects and teams, helping to organise activity, carry out research, involve colleagues and service users, prepare clear information and keep work moving. One week you might be supporting a digital service project; the next, researching a new approach, coordinating a workshop or helping a team test an idea.

This role would suit someone who:

  • can organise work and keep track of actions and deadlines
  • enjoys researching problems and finding practical solutions
  • communicates clearly with different audiences
  • works well with others but can also use their own initiative
  • can bring together information and identify what matters
  • is interested in how organisations, services and ways of working can improve

You do not need to arrive with experience of every aspect of transformation. What matters is that you are thoughtful, organised, willing to learn and motivated by making things work better for people. You will join a supportive team and gain experience across a wide range of organisational and digital change. If you want a role where you can contribute ideas, build practical experience and see the effect of your work, we would welcome your application.
