The Royal Albert Hall is recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Programming Executive (Hires) to join our Programming team.

Job Description

The Programming Executive (Hires) is a key player in delivering the Royal Albert Hall's programming strategy. This role will work closely with senior colleagues to curate and deliver a world-class programme that aligns with the Hall's artistic vision and strategic goals. Success in this role means providing exceptional service to stakeholders, attracting and engaging with diverse audiences', events and artists, and maintaining excellent relationships with key promoters.

Our vision is to promote the arts and sciences by presenting a program of world-class events that reflect the diversity of people and art forms within the UK, whilst continuing to drive financial surpluses in excess of budget for the benefit of the charity.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced arts or live-event coordination environment
  • Previous administrative experience; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong ability to plan, develop and co-ordinate multiple tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and relationship-building
  • Outstanding time management and active prioritisation in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • Superb, professional and proactive customer service skills
  • Ability to investigate and analyse information and draw conclusions
  • Good knowledge of varied music genres and the arts
  • High level of literacy and numeracy in English and Math's
  • Good understanding of office procedures
  • Capable of making administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues
  • Self-motivated, confident and has the initiative to carry out duties with minimum supervision
