Overview

In this role you will lead security operations to safeguard visitors, staff, and the gallery’s world-class collection while maintaining an outstanding visitor experience. You will report to the Health, Safety and Fire Risk Manager and oversee security providers, incident management, and security systems. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and emergency services to ensure policy compliance and continuous improvement. The role operates on a 7-day rota with weekend and occasional out-of-hours work, contributing to protecting a nationally important cultural asset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contracted security providers and contract management
  • Maintain and monitor specialist security systems
