Relationship and Development Manager (COO25)
Contract: Fixed term maternity cover until 27 August 2027, working 35 hours per week. Arts Council recognises flexible working as a valued part of the way we work and welcomes applications from individuals who require flexibility.
Salary: £38,689 per annum Grade C plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Newcastle or Leeds. Hybrid work with 1-2 on-site days a week.
Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships with a portfolio of Music Hubs and provide ongoing support.
- Monitor progress, observe Hub activities, and use data and performance assessments to guide Hubs toward achieving goals.
- Apply expertise in music education to contribute to policies and training that enhance quality across the network.
- Facilitate collaboration and foster connections with partners, stakeholders, and Local Authorities.
- Collaborate with fellow Relationship and Development Managers and the Senior Relationship and Development Manager to ensure a unified and strategic approach to programme success.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in music education or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Passion for music education and ability to take a strategic, collaborative approach.
