Overview
The Museums and Cultural Property team delivers services to protect, champion and bring public visibility to cultural assets. This role focuses on Government Indemnity for museums borrowing works of art and history.
Responsibilities
- Process indemnity applications, analyze data and expert advice, and issue indemnities.
- Communicate with museums, galleries and partners, responding to enquiries and providing guidance.
- Manage complex information and details to maintain the confidence of lenders, borrowers and Government.
- Support redesign of the indemnity service, working closely with sector partners to test and implement a new system.
- Assist the wider team, for example by conducting security reviews for loans, and handle competing priorities.
