198 Contemporary Arts & Learning is seeking a new Development Manager to increase and diversify earned income and develop new audiences and partnerships for this unique organisation.
The Development Manager (£38,000 per annum pro rata, part-time 2 days per week, Thursday and Friday) works as part of the 198 Contemporary Arts & Learning team, supporting the CEO and Board of Trustees to grow and diversify the organisation's income, audiences and partnerships. The role focuses on developing new fundraising and earned income opportunities, including individual giving, corporate support, venue hire, ticketed events, membership and exhibition partnerships.
Working closely with the CEO and Artistic Programme Manager, the Development Manager will lead on building meaningful relationships with funders, donors, partners and audiences, while developing strategies that strengthen 198's long-term sustainability. The role includes income generation, fundraising campaigns, audience development, reporting, stakeholder engagement and ensuring development activity aligns with 198's values around diversity, inclusion, creativity and social impact.

Job Requirements
- Proven experience generating income from diverse fundraising and commercial sources.

Job Responsibilities
