Arts Bridge Charity is a London-based arts organisation using creativity as a bridge to learning. Since 2014 we have delivered projects across London that open up the arts to children, young people and communities who face barriers to participation. Our work spans emotional wellbeing in schools, intergenerational community projects, heritage storytelling and pathways for emerging creatives. We were founded on a simple belief: that every young person, regardless of where they grow up or what their family can afford, deserves to find their spark.

We are looking for a new trustee to join our board and help us grow. We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience or expertise in one of the following areas:

  • Fundraising and income generation
  • Business strategy
  • Marketing and communications

You do not need experience in all three areas. We are looking for someone who brings real depth in one of them, alongside a genuine commitment to making the arts accessible to all. Previous board or trustee experience is not required. We actively welcome applications from people from ethnically diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, and anyone who has been underrepresented in governance roles.

This is a voluntary role with an initial one-year term and the option to continue. The time commitment is four board meetings per year, held online, with opportunities to meet in person. Meetings are typically on Sunday mornings. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

As a trustee of a small, agile organisation with big ambitions, your voice will genuinely be heard and your contribution will make a real difference.

To apply, send a CV and short covering letter by 12 June 2026 at 5pm. Subject line: Trustee Application - ABC Board. For an informal conversation beforehand, contact Amanda Bright, Founder and Director.
