We are launching a brand new premium flexible workspace within the new art’otel London Hoxton - a bold, design‑led destination in the heart of Shoreditch that blends elevated hospitality with modern workspaces. We’re looking for an Operations Manager to play a key role in the pre‑opening and launch, before leading the day‑to‑day operations of this flagship workspace. This role is central to delivering an exceptional member experience, strong operational standards and commercial success across co‑working and leased office floors.
What you’ll do:
- Pre‑Opening & launch
- Support senior leadership in defining service standards, tone of voice and the overall workspace experience within the art’otel brand
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and SOPs
- Design member journeys, hospitality touchpoints and community programming
- Work closely with project and design teams during build and fit‑out
- Support the selection and set‑up of workspace systems
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and training of front‑of‑house and community teams ahead of opening
- Support soft‑opening activity, operational trials and launch readiness
- Workspace Operations & Member Experience
- Ensure the smooth, efficient and personalised day‑to‑day running of the workspace
- Lead community engagement, events and relationship‑building initiatives
- Act as the main escalation point for member feedback, issues and service recovery
- Team Leadership
- Manage reception, community and support teams
- Rota planning, performance management and ongoing training
- Build a strong, service‑led team culture aligned with hospitality values
- Facilities, Compliance & Commercial Support
- Maintain premium presentation, cleanliness, safety and compliance across all workspace areas
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance
- Support sales activity through show‑space readiness and member tours
- Work closely with the sales team and hotel F&B teams to enhance commercial performance
- Manage operational budgets, support procurement
- Track utilisation, performance trends and feedback to drive continuous improvement
