We\'re searching for a talented, reliable and passionate Sous Chef to join our small but mighty kitchen at Artist Residence Bristol - a creative townhouse, neighbourhood hangout and buzzing events space with an open kitchen at its heart.
This role is perfect for a chef with solid experience who\'s ready to take on more responsibility: running services with confidence, leading the kitchen when needed, and helping drive quality, consistency and great vibes every day.
What You\'ll Be Doing
- Leading evening services (often solo), keeping service smooth, calm and consistently delicious
- Cooking a menu of simple, bold, flavour-packed dishes - from pizzas and small plates to party & event food
- Supporting the Head Chef with ordering, stock control, prep planning and menu delivery
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness, organisation and EHO standards in an open kitchen
- Helping prep and execute event menus for parties, creative gatherings and private hires
- Working closely with a small, friendly FOH & BOH team to create a great atmosphere
- Bringing reliability, pride and care to your kitchen every single shift
What We\'re Looking For
- An experienced chef ready for a Sous Chef role - or a very Senior CDP ready to step up
- A confident leader who can run services independently
- Someone calm, organised, tidy and obsessed with high standards
- A team player with a positive, drama-free attitude
- Strong on food hygiene, prep planning and maintaining a clean kitchen
- Weekend availability is essential
- Someone who genuinely loves food, hospitality and neighbourhood vibes
