Artisan Recruit are looking for an ambitious and hands-on M&E Small Works Manager / Supervisor to help establish and grow our small works division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, takes ownership, and wants to play a key role in building a department for the future. Based from our Worcester HQ, you will manage and deliver mechanical and electrical projects ranging from ÂŁ200 to ÂŁ20,000 across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver small M&E works projects from enquiry through to completion.
- Carry out site surveys, pricing, quotations, and client liaison.
- Plan labour, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Personally attend and deliver smaller “man and van” style works where required.
- Oversee larger small works projects by pricing, planning, and coordinating delivery teams.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Support the growth and development of the small works division, helping shape processes and future team structure.
About You
- Proven experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) project delivery, supervision, or small works management.
- Strong technical understanding of building services installations and maintenance.
- Ability to price works, interpret specifications, and manage costs.
- Organised, commercially aware, and confident working independently.
- Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved on-site.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
