Inspire Futures are supporting one of our clients with the search for an HSEQ Coordinator based in Southampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety professional, operational specialist, veteran, service leaver, reservist or military spouse looking to build or progress their career within Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of HSEQ activities across a busy operational environment, helping to maintain high standards of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HSEQ Manager with day to day Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities
- Carry out audits, inspections and active monitoring across the site
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain HSEQ documentation, registers and records
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Prepare reports, KPI information and safety documentation
- Work with operational teams to promote a positive health and safety culture
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
About You
We are looking for candidates with
- Experience within Health and Safety, HSEQ, Engineering, Logistics, Operations or similar environments
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with different teams
- Experience carrying out inspections, audits or risk assessments
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
The following would be advantageous but are not essential
- NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety qualification
- IOSH membership
- NEBOSH Environmental Management qualification
- Experience with ISO auditing
- Armed Forces Community Welcome
