We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established property services organisation for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their team.
This is a mobile role covering multiple sites across the Midlands, with the position based from Worcester and travel required across Lincolnshire, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Northampton and Coventry.
The Role
- Carry out a wide range of property repairs and maintenance works
- Undertake carpentry repairs and basic joinery
- Complete minor plumbing repairs and installations
- Carry out patch plastering, tiling and decorating repairs
- Diagnose faults and complete effective, long-lasting repairs
- Undertake general building and property maintenance duties
- Work independently and as part of a wider team
- Travel between multiple sites across the contract area
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and suitable condition
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service
About You
- Previous experience as a Multi Trade Operative or similar role
- Competent across carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general building repairs
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Valid CSCS card
- Own tools
- Full willingness to travel across the contract area
- Flexible approach to working across different sites
- Comfortable working at height, in confined spaces and on uneven ground
- Able to safely use a range of hand and power tools
- Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Willing to obtain any required security clearance
Package
Salary up to £37,500, depending on experience, £5,000 car allowance, Pension scheme and life assurance, 25 days' holiday + bank holidays, 1 paid volunteer day per year
