Artisan Recruitment are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to work on a static site in London, responsible for the commissioning, testing, and handover of fire and security systems. This role is site-based with no travel requirements, ideal for an engineer looking for long term work.

Duties will include:

  • Commission fire and security systems to relevant British Standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Systems may include:
  • Fire Alarm Systems (addressable and conventional)
  • Access Control
  • CCTV
  • Intruder Alarms
  • Carry out system testing, fault finding, and rectification during commissioning
  • Produce and complete commissioning documentation, test results, and handover packs
  • Liaise with site management, project teams, and end users to ensure smooth delivery
  • Support system handover and provide basic operational guidance where required
  • Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and site procedures
