An exciting opportunity for a Spanish-speaking Senior Administrator to work as part of the Santo Domingo Centre of Excellence for Latin American Research (SDCELAR) at the British Museum. This role is part-time, three days a week.
The Role
As Senior Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of SDCELAR. You’ll be responsible for managing budgets, coordinating logistics for travel and events, and supporting research affiliates. From organising internal and external meetings to liaising with stakeholders across the UK and Latin America, you’ll be at the heart of the mission.Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing administrative operations and financial management.
- Coordinating travel, visitor hosting, and event planning.
- Producing reports on the Centre’s finances and activities.
- Supporting collection visits and documentation efforts.
- Managing communication channels, including public inquiries and internal meetings.
