Step into a new space where technology meets culture and every visitor interaction matters. This is a fixed term contract of 24 months.

This is a launch-phase leadership appointment for an AI exhibition and education space. You will take full ownership of building the site’s operational foundation before the doors open, and lead an engaged team of up to 25 people once they do. From designing the staffing structure to establishing workflows, SOPs and visitor experience standards, your impact will be visible from day one.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing the full visitor services team structure ahead of opening
  • Leading recruitment and onboarding for the Team Leader and frontline Educator team
  • Acting as the lead site representative with local authorities, community organisations and corporate stakeholders
  • Holding primary responsibility for Health and Safety compliance, safeguarding and emergency procedures
  • Managing the operational budget, KPIs and visitor satisfaction performance
  • Overseeing facilities, bespoke interactive installations and contractor relationships
  • Supporting duty management during peak periods and key events

Sound like you? You bring at least five years of senior leadership experience within a museum, visitor attraction, cultural venue or commercial leisure environment. You have delivered a site opening or built an operational team from scratch, and you know how to scale a frontline team without losing standards.
