A fast-growing, biotech-first skin health and devices brand is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to be based in London.
The role involves being hands-on with the numbers, ensuring the business has accurate, reliable financials while providing practical insight to support commercial decision-making in a founder-led, fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections and supplier payments
- Managing bank reconciliations, daily cash tracking and cash flow visibility
- Leading month-end close with accurate and timely financial reporting
- Maintaining a clean general ledger and robust supporting documentation
- Preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet and cash flow summaries
- Working closely with external accountants on VAT, statutory filings, audits and year-end accounts
- Implementing and maintaining scalable financial processes, controls and documentation
- Maintaining real-time visibility of cash position, burn rate and runway
- Tracking spend against budget and flagging risks, overruns or variances
- Supporting annual budgets and rolling forecasts with a practical, lightweight approach
- Analysing product margins, COGS and SKU-level profitability
- Supporting pricing, promotions, new launches and channel performance analysis
- Building clear KPI dashboards across DTC, retail, clinical and wholesale channels
- Providing accurate financial reporting and modelling to support senior leadership decisions
- Supporting fundraising activity with financial analysis and diligence materials

With 5 to 8 plus years’ experience across finance management, financial control, FP&A, accounting or similar roles, you bring strong hands-on capability across AP, AR and month-end close. You are highly organised, Excel-confident, comfortable working with external advisors and able to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led business. Experience within beauty, consumer goods, biotech or hardware-enabled businesses is welcome but not essential.
