The role

  • Line manage the facilitator team: rotas, zone coverage, wellbeing and daily performance
  • Coach and mentor early-career staff through regular 1-to-1s and hands-on feedback
  • Act as Duty Manager, resolving visitor queries and operational issues in real time
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, keeping the venue spotless and fully operational

  • Track KPIs such as visitor throughput and satisfaction to keep the experience sharp
  • Support reporting and manage operational and educational inventory

Sound like you? You’re a natural leader who thrives on energy and pace. You’ve managed teams before, you know how to develop people who are just starting out, and you can think on your feet when the floor gets busy. You bring genuine enthusiasm for interactive, hands-on learning, and while you don’t need a background in tech, curiosity about emerging technology will set you apart. Above all, you’re as comfortable coaching a new starter as you are briefing senior management.
