Artis HR are delighted to be partnering with a successful, fast-paced business to recruit a Learning & Development Specialist. This isn't a traditional training role. We're looking for someone who is passionate about instructional design and creating engaging learning experiences that genuinely improve capability across a business.

You'll be joining an established Learning & Development team, taking ownership of designing and developing high-quality blended learning solutions that are practical, commercially focused and built around business outcomes. This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with stakeholders and creating learning that people actually want to use.

The Opportunity

Working alongside People Partners, operational leaders and subject matter experts, you'll identify capability gaps and design learning solutions that support colleagues across the organisation. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent designing and developing learning content, with the remaining 30% focused on facilitating workshops and partnering with the business.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing engaging blended learning solutions across digital, virtual and face-to-face formats.
  • Building structured learning pathways for a variety of roles.
  • Creating digital learning resources, video content, toolkits and practical learning materials.
  • Conducting learning needs analysis and translating business challenges into effective learning solutions.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand operational priorities and recommend the right interventions.
  • Delivering workshops and learning sessions where required.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programmes and continuously improving content through feedback and performance data.
  • Keeping up to date with modern learning technologies and instructional design best practice.

About You

This role is all about instructional design. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate how they've built learning solutions from the ground up, rather than simply delivering existing training. You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience designing blended learning programmes using instructional design principles.
  • Experience creating engaging digital learning content, learning pathways and video-based resources.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and advise.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment such as FMCG, manufacturing, retail, logistics or another operational business.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience using learning content creation tools such as Camtasia, Riverside, Adobe Express or similar.
  • CIPD Level 5 or an equivalent Learning & Development qualification.

Why Join?

You'll be joining a collaborative team where you'll have the autonomy to make decisions, influence learning strategy and see your work have a real impact across the business. The environment is fast moving, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly and is comfortable managing multiple projects at once. If you're someone who likes to take ownership, build strong relationships and create learning that delivers measurable results, you'll thrive here.
