Artis HR are supporting with the recruitment of a People Advisor on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a broad, hands-on HR position offering plenty of variety across the employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with managers and the wider HR team, providing practical advice and support across day-to-day people matters. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in everything from employee relations and performance management through to onboarding, L&D and wider people projects. It's a great role for someone who enjoys being involved, building strong relationships and getting things moving.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting managers with employee relations matters including performance, conduct, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Assisting with investigations and hearings
- Supporting managers throughout the employee lifecycle
- Overseeing probation processes and supporting salary reviews
- Managing and improving onboarding and offboarding processes
- Supporting recruitment activity when required
- Preparing HR reports and maintaining accurate people data
- Supporting the annual appraisal process
- Providing information for monthly payroll
- Managing and responding to HR queries through the HR inbox
- Supporting learning and development activity and training coordination
- Getting involved in employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Supporting wider HR projects as required
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with previous experience in a generalist HR role who is confident providing advice to managers and employees. You'll ideally have:
- Experience working at HR Advisor or similar level
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience
- Good knowledge across generalist HR and employee relations
- Confidence dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and practical approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage your own workload and work collaboratively with others
What's on offer?
- £40,000 - £45,000
- 6-month FTC
- Hybrid working, with 2 days on site and 3 days from home
