Artis Accountancy and Finance is working in partnership with a well established and growing food manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands on and commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations at site, leading a small but capable team. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing or FMCG experience and a proactive approach to supporting business performance. In this varied and rewarding role, you\’ll be responsible for producing timely and accurate management accounts, overseeing weekly and monthly reporting on costs, margins and key performance indicators, and managing cash flow forecasting and budgeting. You\’ll work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight that supports strategic decisions, as well as lead year-end processes and liaise with auditors. A key part of the role will involve improving systems, strengthening internal controls, and mentoring a team of 2-4 direct reports across transactional and reporting functions. We\’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or a QBE with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment – ideally within the food sector. You should be confident in managing people and processes, with strong Excel and ERP system skills. Commercial acumen, good organisational ability, and a collaborative working style are all essential for success in this role.
