Artis are pleased to be partnering with a leading organisation based in Wiltshire, near Bath, to support the appointment of an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join its senior support team.
Reporting to the CFO, you will take a lead role in managing the finance function, combining hands-on financial management with strategic oversight. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Overseeing payroll, pensions, and fee billing
- Managing audits and compliance
- Enhancing financial systems and controls to ensure efficiency and accuracy
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or part-qualified with strong relevant experience. You will have excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Experience in the education or not-for-profit sector and familiarity with systems such as Sage or iFinance would be advantageous.
