Artis HR are supporting a leading organisation with the appointment of an Internal Communications Lead to join their Communications team on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on internal communications role with a strong People focus, supporting communications that help colleagues understand what is happening across the organisation, why it matters and how it connects to wider business priorities. Working closely with a senior internal communications manager, you'll play an important role in shaping and delivering communications across a busy and complex organisation. You'll work closely with leaders and teams across the business, providing practical communications advice and ensuring messaging is clear, engaging and joined up. What you'll be doing: Leading the delivery of internal communications plans across your area, aligned to wider business priorities Developing clear and engaging communications that translate complex information into messages colleagues can understand Working closely with senior and operational stakeholders, providing trusted and practical communications advice Planning and delivering internal communications campaigns across multiple channels Supporting People, change and sensitive communications activity Managing day-to-day internal communications channels and ensuring content is timely and relevant Working collaboratively with Communications, HR and other key teams Using feedback, insight and basic measurement to understand what is working and where improvements can be made Supporting and developing colleagues within the communications team What we're looking for: Solid experience working within an internal communications role, ideally within a complex organisation Strong experience planning and delivering communications across multiple channels Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex information clear and engaging Confidence working with senior stakeholders and providing practical communications advice Experience supporting or managing others, with an interest in developing people and capability Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities A collaborative, pragmatic approach with strong attention to detail and sound judgement Experience within a large or regulated organisation would be advantageous This is a great opportunity for an experienced internal communications professional to join a well-established organisation and make an impact across a key period of activity.
