Regional Retail Manager in Bristol

Artis Recruitment are supporting a fast-growing lifestyle business as they continue to build and expand their retail presence across the UK. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Retail Manager / Senior Retail Manager to join the business at an early stage of its retail growth. With further retail locations planned, this role will play a key part in helping to establish and scale the retail operation. You'll have the opportunity to shape how stores operate, support new store openings, develop teams and drive commercial performance across the estate. This isn't simply a role focused on keeping existing stores running. It's an opportunity to join a growing business while its retail function is still in its infancy and have a genuine influence over how the estate develops.

What you'll be doing:

• Taking ownership of the day-to-day performance and operations across a growing portfolio of stores.
• Driving commercial performance across sales, conversion, ATV, UPT, footfall and payroll.
• Managing and monitoring retail budgets and P&L performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of new store openings, from operational setup through to launch.
• Establishing consistent processes, standards and ways of working as the retail estate grows.
• Leading, developing and supporting Store Managers and wider retail teams.
• Creating a high-performance culture focused on customer experience, accountability and commercial results.
• Working closely with Finance, Marketing, Product, Operations and People to ensure the retail estate is aligned with the wider business.
• Using trading performance and customer insight to identify opportunities and make commercially sound decisions.
• Being the senior point of support for the retail teams, while also being happy to get stuck into the detail when needed.

About you:

We're looking for someone with strong multi-site retail management experience who is ready to take on an opportunity where they can genuinely make their mark. You'll ideally have:

• Experience managing multiple retail locations, ideally within a fast-growing or changing business.
• A strong commercial mindset with experience managing KPIs, budgets and P&L.
• Experience supporting or leading new store openings would be highly advantageous.
• A proven ability to lead, develop and motivate Store Managers and retail teams.
• Strong operational knowledge and an eye for improving processes and standards.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach. Someone who is comfortable creating structure rather than simply following it.
• The confidence to work autonomously, challenge existing ways of working and bring new ideas to the table.
