A leading organisation is looking for a high-calibre Project Manager to join on an initial six-month contract, working on a range of transformation, technology and AI-related initiatives.
This is an opportunity for someone who is bright, driven and highly capable, rather than someone who simply brings years of project management experience.
The successful candidate will be someone with the energy, grit and mental agility to tackle problems, work at pace and make things happen.
You may have around 3β5 years' project management or transformation experience, although the quality of your experience and, importantly, your approach will be more important than the number of years on your CV.
The Role
You will support the delivery of transformation and technology projects, helping to turn ideas into tangible outcomes.
This will involve working across a range of initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement, solving problems and driving projects forward.
The role will suit someone comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment, where you may need to work with ambiguity, think creatively and take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
We're looking for someone with
- A strong track record of project delivery, transformation or change.
- Around 3β5 years' relevant experience β although exceptional candidates outside this range will be considered.
- Exposure to AI, technology or digital transformation projects is desirable; extensive AI experience is not essential.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Excellent mental agility, with the ability to quickly understand complex issues and identify practical solutions.
- A high level of energy, drive and resilience.
- Genuine grit and determination β someone who keeps going when things become difficult.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine desire to get things done.
- Experience of process improvement and delivering change.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Academic Requirement
A 1st or 2:1 degree from a UK university ranked within the top 15 is a requirement for this position.
What will really set you apart?
We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate
Energy | Grit | Problem Solving | Mental Agility | Drive | Curiosity
This is not a role for someone looking to simply manage a project plan. We are looking for someone who thinks, challenges, solves problems and drives progress.
If you're an ambitious Project Manager with a strong academic background who thrives on solving problems and delivering change, we'd be keen to hear from you
