Data Analyst required to join a growing professional services organisation in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset who enjoys working with data, producing meaningful insights and using those insights to support business performance, process improvement and change.

Bristol | Hybrid | £28,000–£35,000 | Permanent | 35 hours per week | Annual Bonus & Annual Salary review

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with of 2–3 days per week in the Bristol office with flexibility.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for producing and analysing management information, monitoring business performance and providing insight to key stakeholders.

You will work closely with operational and senior stakeholders to identify trends, highlight opportunities for improvement and support the implementation of changes designed to improve efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely management information and reporting.
  • Analyse data and provide meaningful insight and commentary on business performance.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management teams.
  • Support forecasting, resource planning and operational performance analysis.
  • Assist with financial forecasting, budget tracking and associated reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimisation.
  • Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support business change initiatives from analysis through to implementation.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing strategies and assess the impact of implemented changes.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to deliver key strategic priorities.
  • Prepare information and reports for senior stakeholders and governance meetings.

Ideal Background

  • Previous experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, MI Analyst or similar analytical role.
  • Strong Power BI experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to interpret complex data and turn it into clear, actionable insight.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience producing management information and performance reporting.
  • An understanding of process mapping and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to challenge existing processes where appropriate.

Experience within a professional services, regulated or operational environment would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable analytical experience are encouraged to apply.
