Artis Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services organisation in the search for an Information Security Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where information security is a key strategic priority. Working closely with technology teams, business stakeholders and external security partners, you will help protect the organisation’s information assets, support security governance activities and contribute to the ongoing development of its security posture. The successful candidate will play a broad role across information security, including risk management, incident response, compliance, security awareness and client assurance activities. This position offers genuine variety and the opportunity to influence security practices across the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the organisation’s Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Identify, assess and mitigate information security risks across the business.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, working with internal teams and external security partners.
- Support compliance activities, audits and security certifications including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
- Respond to client security enquiries and assist with supplier security assessments.
- Promote security awareness and best practice throughout the organisation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in an Information Security, Cyber Security or Security Governance position and possess a strong understanding of security principles, risk management and security frameworks. You will also demonstrate:
- Experience working with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
- Knowledge of security incident management and threat mitigation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and professional development.
- A genuine passion for information security and emerging technologies.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CompTIA Security+ would be advantageous but are not essential.
