Artis HR is delighted to be advertising an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Adviser to join a forward‑thinking, multi‑site organisation. This is a key role within the central HR team, providing high‑quality, proactive and consistent HR support to leaders, managers and staff. You’ll act as a trusted adviser on a wide range of employee relations matters, policies and employment law, helping to ensure a fair, compliant and people‑focused approach to HR practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional HR advice on absence, disciplinary, performance and grievance issues.
- Support leaders with employee relations cases through to hearings and appeals.
- Provide guidance on employment law, organisational policies and best practice.
- Attend welfare meetings and advise on Occupational Health, phased returns and reasonable adjustments.
- Contribute to policy development and organisational change projects, including restructures and TUPE.
- Develop and deliver HR training to managers and staff.
- Maintain accurate HR records and support statutory reporting.
- Support safer recruitment, compliance and robust onboarding processes.
- Promote wellbeing initiatives and positive workforce engagement.
About You
- CIPD Level 5 (minimum) with solid generalist HR experience.
- Confident advising managers on a broad range of people issues.
- Skilled in managing complex HR cases and applying employment legislation.
- Experience supporting organisational change.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Professional, confidential and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
