Overview
Part-Time Art Instructors: (Weekends: Sundays only)
Rate: $20-$30/hr
Working Hours
- 9:00am – 2:00pm – Children’s Art Classes
- 3:00pm – 5:30pm – Art Jamming (Open Session)
Responsibilities
- Art Jamming
- Conduct guided Art Jamming sessions
- Prepare the studio before classes and ensure proper clean-up after each session
- Provide clear tips and techniques for painting
- Manage class timing and pace participants to complete their artwork within the session
- Work confidently with both oil and acrylic paints
- Teacher-to-student ratio: 1 instructor to 4 children
- Guide children across various art mediums, including charcoal, acrylic, watercolour, gouache, oil pastels, and coloured pencils
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding students’ progress and classes
