About the role
The Engagement Manager will build and maintain strategic relationships with insurance clients, leveraging industry networks and existing relationships. Driving top-of-funnel engagement by identifying and developing new opportunities within insurance organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders (including C-suite) and leverage industry network to generate and lead early-stage, top-of-funnel opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, and expand new opportunities across insurance organisations by leading discovery conversations to understand client needs, translating those needs into structured solutions in collaboration with internal teams, and supporting proposals.
- Partner across sales, product, delivery, and consulting teams, coordinating with business analysts and subject matter experts to shape client engagements, drive requirements discovery, and ensure alignment between client expectations and internal delivery.
- Support the full client engagement lifecycle, from initial outreach and qualification through to proposal and ongoing relationship management, ensuring seamless continuity between pre-sales and delivery teams.
- Maintain industry leadership by staying current on market trends, representing the company at industry events, and providing critical market insights to internal product and strategy teams.
About You
- 5+ years of experience working with insurance organisations (carriers, brokers, MGAs, or InsurTech providers).
- Strong existing relationships within the insurance industry.
- Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with executive and C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience leading early-stage client engagement and opportunity qualification.
- Ability to collaborate with business analysts, product teams, and delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of insurance business processes and digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
