About Artificial Analysis

Artificial Analysis is the leading independent AI benchmarking company. We support labs, engineers and enterprises to understand AI capabilities and make critical decisions about their AI strategies. Our benchmarks don’t just measure the cutting edge of AI, they are actively shaping the frontier. Our benchmarks and analysis are trusted by hundreds of thousands of users and are the go-to reference for leading AI labs including OpenAI, Google, Meta, NVIDIA and Anthropic, and major publications including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, the Financial Times and The Economist.

The Opportunity

We’re scaling from ~40 to ~80 people and several times revenue this year, and that growth creates a constant stream of high-priority projects that don’t yet have an owner: a new market to operationalize, commercial reporting to stand up, a process to build before it breaks. We’re hiring a Strategic Projects Lead to run them. This is a hands-on execution role in service of the business, working directly with our founders and Chief of Staff. Direction is set by our leadership team; your job is to take the projects that matter most and drive them to done, across operations, commercial and wherever the business needs support next. The work is greenfield: scope the initiative, build the first version yourself, hand it to a long-term owner, then move to the next one. To be clear about fit: this is not a seat for setting company strategy. It suits a sharp, low-ego operator who takes pride in delivery and gets their satisfaction from making the company run better.

What You’ll Do

  • Run Strategic Projects End to End: Take the leadership team’s highest-priority initiatives from blank page to done, across operations, commercial and new areas of the business.
  • Build First Versions: Stand up the systems scaling demands, from commercial reporting and pricing infrastructure to new-market operations, then hand them to long-term owners.
  • Support New Initiatives: Give our founders and Chief of Staff leverage on whatever comes next, from market entry to partner and customer operations, doing the work rather than delegating it.
  • Do the Analysis Decisions Need: Build the models and documents behind key decisions, make a clear recommendation, and then execute what gets decided.
  • Keep Initiatives Moving: Track actions and owners across strategic projects and make sure nothing stalls.
  • Become AI-Native: Embrace an AI-native workflow, using cutting-edge AI tools to generate leverage in a fast-changing industry and maintain our competitive edge in AI benchmarking.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Demonstrated excellence, both academically and professionally.
  • 3+ years in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a strategy and operations role at a high-growth technology company.
  • Structured problem solving and strong modeling skills; you can take an ambiguous question to a defensible answer on your own.
  • Strong written communication; your documents drive decisions.
  • High autonomy and follow-through.
  • Low ego and a service mindset: you take direction, run with it, and measure yourself on what ships.

Valuable, not expected in full:

  • Experience in AI, developer tools or adjacent markets.
  • Proficiency in Python or SQL for analysis.
  • Excitement about AI and eagerness to work at the forefront of technological innovation.

Why Artificial Analysis?

  • Build the company behind the benchmarks: The leading AI labs track our numbers and use them to guide their development priorities. The projects you run are how a company with that influence scales.
  • Become fluent in frontier AI: You’ll work alongside the team evaluating every major model as it releases, and build a working fluency in frontier AI that few roles outside a lab can offer.
  • Work with the most important players in AI: Our customers and partners are the leading AI labs, chipmakers and enterprises, and your work shapes how they experience Artificial Analysis.
  • Join at a defining moment: We’re 40+ people, on track to double by end of year, backed by some of the most connected investors in AI. The people who join now will shape the product, the team, and the strategy as we scale.
  • Competitive compensation including equity.
