Artichoke is a specialist interior design and bespoke joinery practice working on some of the most significant private homes in the UK and abroad. We are seeking an Installations Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of our bespoke joinery installations.
About the Role
The Installations Manager oversees the installation phase of Artichoke projects, ensuring programmes are clearly planned, fitting operations are well organised, and site standards are consistently maintained across UK and international locations.
What You’ll Do
- Installation Planning
- You will support the planning and preparation of installation work, including:
- Installation planning, costing and budgets
- Site and project risk analysis
- Pre-contract technical support
- Technical site meetings with main contractors and architects
- Site survey checks for dimensions, M&E requirements and grid set-up
- Logistics coordination, including component coding and delivery management with the Logistics team
- You will manage and support sub-contract fitting teams by:
- Booking and coordinating fitting teams
- Issuing fitting drawing packs and sequence instructions / notes from makers
- Preparing fitting consumables, fixings and fitting packs
- Upholding fitting team standards and supervising teams on site
- Recording fitting team hours (daily and project-specific)
- Overseeing fitting team logistics: travel, accommodation and subsistence
- You will maintain site quality and communication through:
- Site quality control and issue resolution
- Management and upkeep of Artichoke site tools and tool records
- Project communication and reporting to the Project Director and Technical Director
- Regular photographic project updates
Additional Responsibilities
- Supporting small projects
- Managing remedials on previous Artichoke installations

Reports to: Installation Manager; Technical Director
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Experience supporting installation work within joinery, interiors or construction
- Confident communication with contractors, fitting teams and internal colleagues
- A calm, professional and structured approach to site management
- The minimum requirement for application is a manager with five years’ site experience in a similar role as manager or senior site fitter.
