As the UCL AC Runner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HVAC and building services operations across the UCL campus. Your primary responsibilities will involve transport of parts and equipment, assisting engineers on-site, and ensuring operational efficiency. You will also have the flexibility to proactively seek additional work opportunities, aligning with our commitment to service excellence and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and Logistics: Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and equipment to UCL sites and suppliers as required. Utilize the company van for daily tasks, with the option to take the vehicle home overnight.
  • On‑Site Support: Assist HVAC engineers with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks under supervision during downtime. Support the filter team in replacing ventilation filters across the UCL campus.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage paperwork and inventory to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with project timelines.
  • Commercial Engagement: Identify and communicate potential additional work or sales opportunities during site visits. Flex hours and problem‑solving approaches to meet project demands and client needs.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Valid UK or Commonwealth (e.g., New Zealand, Australian) driver’s license (holders of Commonwealth licenses must reside in the UK for less than one year).
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time, paperwork, and multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proven teamwork experience and a "can-do" attitude.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
